In short
What we store in your browser
- Sign in cookies from Clerk, our sign in provider, and short security cookies for mailbox connections.
- A record of your cookie choices, and a few display preferences such as a collapsed sidebar, saved only if you allow preferences.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and runs only after you allow analytics.
- No advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no tracking across other websites.
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage do a similar job but are never sent to our server automatically. This page covers all three, for our public site and for the signed in app. It is part of our privacy policy.
Your cookie settings
Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because sign in and security depend on them. Preferences and analytics are optional and stay off until you allow them. You can change your choice at any time: turning preferences off removes what they saved, and turning analytics off takes effect when the page reloads. We ask again after 180 days.

Needed to sign you in, keep connections secure, remember your cookie choices and load the site correctly. Cookie settings cannot switch these off, because the service does not work without them.

Preferences
Remember display choices on this device. Off until you allow preferences in Cookie settings; turning them off removes what they saved. They stay in your browser and are not used to track you.

Tracking in emails
Campaign emails sent with Moonreply can contain an open tracking image and tracked links. These are not cookies and nothing is stored in your browser, but they record when an email is opened or a link is clicked. Our privacy policy explains how they work and how to block them.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings, Privacy. If you block Clerk's cookies you will not be able to sign in. Preferences you allowed stay in local storage after you sign out, so on a shared computer, clear this site's data when you finish.
Moonreply also keeps recent answers from our server in the page's memory for up to two minutes so screens load faster. That copy is never written to your browser storage and disappears when you close the page.
